Flower Pots Day Nursery is currently recruiting for a qualified Deputy Nursery Manager to join our friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

This full-time position offers opportunities for further training, development, and career progression within the Flower Pots group.

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting while helping to maintain the high standards of care and education Flower Pots is known for. You will play an important role in supporting the wider team, ensuring best practice across the nursery, and creating a safe and welcoming environment for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Supporting the smooth running of the nursery

Following company policies and procedures at all times

Supporting best practice across all rooms

Helping to maintain occupancy levels and staffing ratios

Observing and recording children’s development

Planning and carrying out age-appropriate activities

Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment

Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff

Supporting and leading team members where required

Ensuring high standards are consistently maintained

What We’re Looking For

Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification or above

Previous management experience within an early years setting

Strong leadership and communication skills

A positive, organised, and proactive approach

A genuine passion for early years childcare and education

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role, which Flower Pots Day Nursery will arrange upon employment.
