MEET OUR Manager

Danielle

Hi, I’m Danielle, the Nursery Manager at Flower Pots Hunton Bridge. I have more than 10 years of experience working in childcare and have supported children across every nursery room and age group.

I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and am also the setting’s Designated Safeguarding Lead. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is watching children join us as babies and gradually become confident, independent young people who are ready for school.

Creating a safe and caring environment is extremely important to me, as is developing positive and trusting relationships with every family who becomes part of our nursery community.

MEET OUR Manager

Georgia

I have been part of Flower Pots for more than eight years and am proud to manage our largest setting. During that time, I have been closely involved in the nursery’s continued growth and development.

As a parent of four children, I understand how important it is for families to know that their child feels safe, happy and well cared for. I am passionate about giving every child the support they need to learn, develop and flourish during their early years.

Building strong relationships with parents and supporting each child as an individual remain central to everything I do.

MEET OUR – DEPUTY MANAGER

Annie

Hi, I’m Annie. I have worked in early years education for 10 years and remain just as passionate about helping children learn and develop as I was when I first began.

I enjoy creating an environment in which children feel secure, supported and comfortable expressing themselves. I am particularly interested in early communication and language, sensory learning and creative activities that help children make sense of the world around them.

Calm and reassuring routines help children feel settled while giving them the confidence to become more curious and independent. Outside the nursery, I enjoy crafts, spending time outdoors, relaxing with a film and looking after my playful dog, Mylo.

Meet The Team

Baby Room

Our baby room provides a calm and comfortable space where younger children can explore safely and become familiar with nursery life. Soft flooring, natural play materials and accessible low-level storage allow babies to move freely and begin choosing the resources that interest them.

The room has been arranged to avoid unnecessary clutter, helping babies feel settled while they develop movement, coordination and confidence at a pace that suits them.

Toddler Room

In the toddler room, children have plenty of space to become more active and independent. The bright, open layout makes it easy for them to move between sensory activities, creative play, tabletop resources and other engaging experiences.

Children are encouraged to make choices and investigate their interests while developing important communication, social and physical skills. Views of the garden also help maintain a strong connection between indoor and outdoor learning.

Pre-School

Our pre-school environment helps children develop the independence and early skills they will need as they prepare for school. Practitioner-led activities are balanced with plenty of child-led play, giving children both guidance and the freedom to explore.

The room includes areas for art and craft, books, science, imaginative play and other early learning experiences. These varied spaces help children strengthen their creativity, concentration, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Outdoor Spaces

Outdoor play is an important part of daily life at Flower Pots. Our nursery garden gives children room to move, investigate and enjoy active play, alongside quieter opportunities to observe their surroundings.

With views towards the canal and neighbouring greenery, children can regularly encounter plants, wildlife and changing weather. These experiences encourage physical development while helping children build an early interest in nature and the world around them.

Nursery Fees

Our nursery in Watford provides full-day childcare sessions from 08:00 until 18:00. Families can also choose an earlier drop-off from 07:00 or arrange collection as late as 18:30, offering additional flexibility around work and other commitments.

A selection of funded childcare options is available, including eligible support for younger children and 15 or 30 funded hours for children aged three and four. Our nursery team can explain the available options and help you understand what your family may be entitled to receive.
