Our Nursery in Adeyfield

Our baby room offers a calm and flexible space where each child’s routine is carefully supported. With soft play areas, a separate sleep room, and a dedicated dining space, babies can explore, rest, and develop comfortably while receiving individual attention from our team.

Designed for children aged 18 months to 2 years, the Tweenie room features two connected spaces that allow children to move freely between different types of play. With direct access to the garden, children can explore both indoor and outdoor environments, helping to build independence, confidence, and early social skills. This room also has child-height toilets and/or potties to support potty training.

In the toddler room, children are encouraged to take greater independence through everyday routines and play. From choosing their own activities to self-serving their meals and developing early skills such as communication and coordination, the environment supports both structured learning and child-led exploration.

Our pre-school room supports children from 2 years and 10 months to 3 years and 6 months, as they begin preparing for the next stage, introducing more structured activities alongside play. Children take part in focused learning such as early writing, sorting, and number recognition, while still enjoying child-led activities shaped around their interests.

The classroom caters to children up to 5 years old and is the final stage before school, with a stronger focus on developing key skills such as language, phonics, and early problem-solving. Alongside structured learning, children continue to explore through play, using spaces like the playhouse and courtyard to build independence and confidence. The children also have the opportunity to use the interactive tablet, which is filled with educational games.
