Baby Room

Our baby room provides a safe and comfortable environment where children can explore freely. With soft flooring throughout, dedicated play areas, and a ball pit, babies are supported in their physical development while enjoying a calm and engaging space. The room also offers direct access to a private garden, allowing for indoor and outdoor play throughout the day.

Toddler Room

The toddler room is designed to support independence and exploration, with a mix of tabletop activities, floor-based play, and a wooden den. Children are encouraged to choose their own activities, helping them develop confidence, communication skills, and an understanding of sharing through a range of fun and engaging experiences.

Pre-School

Our pre-school room supports children as they prepare for school, encouraging independence and self-confidence. With dedicated areas for art, reading, science, and role play, children are able to explore their interests while developing key skills through creative, hands-on activities.

Classroom

The classroom provides an engaging environment focused on school readiness and independence. Children are encouraged to self-serve meals and take part in structured activities, including our “Ready for School” week, alongside a variety of experiences such as cooking, dancing, and gymnastics.

Outdoor Spaces

Our nursery features two separate garden areas, with dedicated spaces for babies and older children. With mud kitchens, digging areas, and balancing features, children are encouraged to explore, play, and develop physically while enjoying outdoor learning throughout the year.

Nursery Fees

Our Boxmoor nursery operates across a full-day schedule from 08:00 to 18:00, with flexible options available for an earlier drop-off from 07:30 and a later collection up to 18:30.

We offer a range of funded childcare options, including 30 hours for children aged 9 months to 2 years, alongside 15 and 30 hours funding for 3 and 4 year olds. Our team is always happy to talk you through availability and help you understand the options available to your family.

Flower Pots Day Nursery

Our daughter has just left Flower Pots after attending the setting for just over 3 years, and our youngest is due to start next month. We would highly recommend this nursery. Our experience has been very positive. The setting is small, which we loved as we got to know the staff really well and could see how much they cared for the children. Our daughter made some great friends and always went in smiling. At the end of the handover, she often came out with crafts, and we were informed on how her day went (she often ate seconds, so the food must be good!). Would highly recommend.

My son has just left Flower Pots nursery, and he had a great time there. He made some lovely friends and enjoyed going. They really care about the children, take time to get to know them and help with any issues. All the staff are so lovely, and we were so happy with our experience. My baby has just joined, and he loves it just as much.

My son has been attending Flower Pots in Boxmoor since I returned to work in July. It’s a lovely small setting and has a real family feel. All of the staff are very friendly, and they are really knowledgeable about the specific needs of my child in relation to his age/developmental milestones. Overall, we are really happy with our choice of nursery – our son has settled in beautifully, and we feel really comfortable leaving him in the care of the fantastic staff when we have to go to work – we would 100% recommend!
